Caroline Fairchild is an award-winning journalist and now Editor in Chief at Lean In. As Lean In's inaugural Editor in Chief, she leads strategy for original research, educational programs and editorial efforts always with a focus on advancing women and creating a more equitable world. She is also a co-author of Women in the Workplace, the largest study on the state of women in corporate America.
Prior to Lean In, Caroline was Editor at Large at LinkedIn, where she reported on the prominent voices, trends and issues facing the future of work and gender equity in the workplace. She is also the Founder of Fortune's The Broadsheet, a popular daily newsletter about women leaders. A member of the board of visitors for Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, she was named one of Forbes 30 Under 30's brightest young entrepreneurs, innovators and game changers working in media. She is a sought-after workplace equity expert in media such as CBS This Morning, CNBC, CNN and Yahoo! Finance and frequently presents on building equitable workplaces to teams within Fortune 500 companies.
